Free Medication Take Back Day
In celebration of Earth Day, SPMHC's pharmacy staff is organizing a FREE Medication Take Back Day. A drive-thru medication drop off site will be set up on the Lincoln Avenue side (north) of the hospital, where staff will collect and safely dispose of any old, unneeded or expired medications. Please keep your pills in the original labeled prescription bottles and scratch off your name. Special thanks to the SPMH Foundation and Sauk Prairie Police Department.

REACT
summer performance program for student athletes
REACT
is a six-week summer program for middle and high school
athletes designed to prevent injuries and increase athleticism.
The program utilizes individualized functional training
through the use of plyometrics, weight-lifting, and speed
training to educate the body to react to the unique challenges
in athletics. This program is designed to meet standards
of training and conditioning set by the American College
of Sports Medicine. All classes are lead by licensed athletic
trainers who are trained in injury prevention. Their goals
for the program are to help athletes: decrease injury risk;
promote a healthy lifestyle; increase body awareness; develop
muscle balance; increase agility, balance, and coordination;
and increase core strength.
Dates: June 16-July 28, 2008
Time: Middle School sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays
from 1-2 pm or 2:30-3:30 pm; High school sessions on Monday,
Wednesday, and Friday mornings from 8-9:30 am or 10-11:30
