Women’s Well-Being: Your Health & Wealth, March 3

SPMHC’s own JoEllen Frawley, APNP, BC-ADM, CDE, will be one of four featured speakers at this year’s Women’s Well-Being: Your Health & Wealth event at Lake Wisconsin Country Club on Saturday, March 3.  In her presentation “X-Rated! What Are Your Risks,”  JoEllen will educate attendees on metabolic syndrome, a group of risk factors which, if occurring together, put you at high risk for type 2 diabetes, coronary artery disease and stroke.  Learn about the risk factors and how you can reduce your risk. SPMHC will also have staff on hand to provide personal screenings, including fasting cholesterol and blood sugar panels.

Other speakers for the morning include Michael OrRico, PhD with “Are you listening?…Are you hearing me?: How men and women communicate”; Michelle Niesen, MS, PA-C with “Repair and Recontour: The surgery-free way to restore your youthful face”; and Michal Starshak with “Love, Learn, Live!”

The event runs from 8:30 am to 1:15 pm and includes breakfast, lunch, educational and fun exhibits.  Space is limited.  For those who register by February 27 the cost is $25 per person.  The cost is $35 at the door.
