Getting Back in Your Game:
Orthopedic surgeons speak on Oxford Partial Knee

Drs. Michael Lamson, Matthew Hebert and Diana Kruse will team up with UW-Madison athletic director Barry Alvarez to offer a free seminar on the Oxford Partial Knee implant on Saturday, December 1 at the River Arts Center at noon. Entitled “Getting Back in Your Game,” the seminar will give participants an opportunity to hear from the surgeons about the Oxford Partial Knee implant which is an alternative to total knee replacement and is designed to repair only the damaged medial portion of the knee, making it much less invasive than a total knee implant. The Oxford® Partial Knee is currently the only fully mobile bearing partial knee system available in the United States which allows for more natural movement and demonstrates low wear rates with potentially longer life expectancy. Alvarez will also share his personal experience with both a total knee implant in his right knee and the Oxford partial knee implant in his left.

Date: Saturday, December 1, 2007
Time: Noon
Location: River Arts Center, 105 9th Street,
