At Sauk Prairie Memorial Hospital & Clinics, we do everything we can to make your baby's birth a special event. Our recently remodeled birthing center features a homelike environment staffed by physicians and other health professionals who specialize in labor, delivery, postpartum care and newborns. We will work with you to develop a birth plan to provide peace of mind. We encourage grandparents and siblings to participate in the birth experience.
Our single room maternity suites offer you and your family privacy and convenience for this important event. A single room provides a pleasant and peaceful place for you to labor, give birth and recover. There's a rocking chair for grandpa, a sofa bed for dad, and your own private bath. All this in a homelike setting, with the reassurance that special equipment is immediately available for complications.
The more you know about parenting the better you will be prepared for your new role. We not only offer childbirth and breastfeeding classes for mom and dad, but preparation classes for new siblings and grandparents too.
