Calling all middle school students! Train your body to react...quickly, safely, powerfully! Join REACT, our exciting 6-week summer program which helps pre-teens/teens develop fundamental skills needed to excel in any sport.
No matter what sport you play, React will improve your performance and reduce risk of injury. This program is designed exclusively for students entering grades 6-8, an ideal age to develop form which will carry over to your high school years.
We take your progress personally. Every athlete is unique—our instructor to student ratio of 1:7 allows us to interact one-on-one and establish personalized goals and benchmarks for each participant. Training takes place in a safe and fun environment and we provide the education every athlete should know to decrease the potential for injury and increase athletic skills (so you’ll get the most out of your game this year…next year…and for many healthy years to come).
Train with experts!
Classes are led by certified athletic trainers under the direction of our fellowship-trained sports medicine physician, Dr. Mark Timmerman. React meets standards of training and conditioning set by the American College of Sports Medicine. You’ll work to:
- balance your muscles
- develop agility, balance and coordination
- boost core strength
There’s more! You’ll also learn how to:
- lower your risk of injury
- listen to your body
- lead a healthy lifestyle
